Congratulation to eight members of Team Harrogate who have been selected to represent Yorkshire at the up and coming Cadet Winton Cup, ( Fencings County Championship) being held at Millfield School on 17th and 18th of December. Over half of the County team has been selected from the club which is a great tribute to all the fencers, supportive parents and club coaches.

The Winton Cup is one of the oldest and most traditional of all the the team fencing tournaments. The fencing begins on the Saturday morning and finishes late Sunday evening with county teams, fencing each other across all three weapons. It is a real test of fencing ability as well as endurance and teamwork.

We are all incredibly proud of the fencers selected and wish them the very best off luck flying the Harrogate flag against the top Cadet fencers in the country.
